As a motivated nursing student currently completing a Higher Certificate in Nursing at Netcare Education, I bring a strong work ethic and a proven ability to perform in high-pressure environments. Experience gained in the service industry has developed my interpersonal communication skills, adaptability, and commitment to excellence. With a genuine passion for healthcare, I am focused on delivering safe, respectful, and patient-centered care while continuously strengthening my clinical competence and professional growth.

I attended Collegiate Girls High School, where I served as a Blood Peer Promoter. In this role, I played an active part in promoting blood donation among learners by providing education on the importance of blood donation, dispelling myths, and encouraging responsible participation. I supported the coordination of blood drives and assisted with all administrative processes, including donor registration, record keeping, and ensuring accurate communication between learners and the blood service team. This experience strengthened my ability to work professionally within a healthcare-related setting, improved my communication and organizational skills, and reinforced my commitment to patient-centered care and community health.

• I have gained exposure to a diverse range of patients with varying medical conditions has significantly strengthened my clinical awareness and adaptability. Participating in monthly 12-hour clinical shifts has allowed me to develop resilience, effective time management, and the ability to respond calmly in demanding healthcare environments. Through caring for patients with different needs and levels of dependency, I have enhanced my ability to provide safe, compassionate, and individualized care while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail at all times.
• I was a member of the Student Representative Council whereby we planned end of semester gatherings for the students. As a member of the SRC, we donated clothing, toiletries, kitchen aids to the Provincial Hospital which was received warmly.
