Created the National Foreign Policy Caucus, that involved several encounters from the Foreign Service with the civil society and other non-governmental actors to improve Foreign Policy, such as Foreign Policy: One country. Venezuela and the Andean Community of Nations. Human Rights: Rights for All. Those events gathered 1,000+ participants and strengthened Venezuela’s foreign policy support base.
• Drafted, presented and negotiated the approval of the Foreign Service Law in 1999. This achievement was unprecedented since this law had been under reform for more than 20 years.
• Official visit to the U.S. State Department, Department of Defense, Homeland Security, among others to discuss conflict scenarios between Venezuela and the United States.
• International Economic and Financial Negotiators Training Program Project Manager. Funded by the Inter-American Development Bank. Developed and successfully executed a Program to train highly skilled negotiators. Lecturer in International Negotiations and created a Simulation of an International Investments Treaty with 30+ participants.
