HISTORIA
ES UN CIRUJANO PLÁSTICO CIENTÍFICO ECUADORI ESPECIALIZADO EN CIRUGÍA PLÁSTICA EVOLUTIVA.
Desde 2013, ha trabajado en los campos de la cirugía plástica, reconstructiva y estética, el tratamiento de quemaduras, la medicina familiar y comunitaria, la psicología clínica y como profesor investigador. También contribuye a la divulgación científica y la innovación a través de tecnologías como la inteligencia artificial (IA), la robótica (sistemas da Vinci), la cirugía mínimamente invasiva, el análisis de big data y la realidad virtual (RV), mejorando la precisión, reduciendo los tiempos de recuperación y personalizando los tratamientos quirúrgicos.
¿Dónde comenzó su interés?
Su primer encuentro con su pasión comenzó a los 13 años, cuando conoció la vida de "Robert, el cirujano de Hollywood", refiriéndose principalmente al Dr. Robert Rey, un cirujano plástico brasileño-estadounidense famoso por su reality show "Dr. 90210", apodado "Dr. Hollywood", y conocido por operar a celebridades. Esta curiosidad adolescente se convirtió en vocación, y estudió cirugía plástica en la Escuela Latinoamericana de Ciencias Médicas en La Habana, Cuba.

Intereses
Sus intereses de investigación se centran en la evolución y diversidad de la cirugía plástica en la región, con énfasis en Ecuador.
En el campo de la cirugía plástica de conservación, está interesado en el estudio de los avances en ciencia, tecnología e innovación. Actualmente lidera el desarrollo de "LEMACIENCIAS", una revista científica multidisciplinaria que gestiona y publica información detallada sobre la biodiversidad de Ecuador y el mundo.
