• Responsible of searching for funding opportunities for the FEPP offices at a national level.
• In charge of writing project proposals with the Project Development Officer for different organizations such as European Union (EU), Spanish Agency for Development Cooperation (AECID), German INGOs such as Brot für die Welt and from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.
• Responsible to participate in the 5 year Strategic Plan for the Institution.
• Monitoring the project reports submitted by the national offices.

• Monitoring and Evaluation of the projects and programs that the Ecuadorian Government signed during the Official meetings with the different countries of the region .
• Responsible of collaborating developing the strategic plans (technical cooperation) between the Ecuadorian Government and the different Latin-America countries.
• Liaison person with the Government Ministries, Cooperation Agencies, Donor Institutions by participating and representing the Secretariat in national and international meetings.

• Responsible of monitoring and evaluation of the projects (small businesses and social economy projects) funded by donor organizations as World Food Program (WFP), European Union (EUROSOCIAL), Andean Community of Nations (CAN) and SWISSAID.
• Focal point for the thematic desk of Social Economy with other Ministries such as Agriculture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as liaison with International Organizations such as KOICA, JICA, CAN and WFP.

• Responsible person from IOM to work with the U.S. Officers from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for the Bhutanese refugees interviews.
• Focal point from IOM with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and NGO involved in the refugee resettlement program of the Bhutanese refugees in Nepal.
• Responsible of supervising all the logistic, administrative and required paperwork from the Bhutanese refugees were in place, in order for them to be interviewed by DHS.
• In charge of keeping IOM Senior Manager informed regarding the case load and status reports of the interviewed refugees .
• Responsible to coordinate with the Operations Department the departure of the refugees that were approved by DHS to the United States.

• Responsible of supervising and monitoring the U.S. resettlement program (Colombian refugees) in Ecuador.
• In charge of reporting to IOM´s Ecuador Chief of Mission and to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in the U.S. regarding the status and caseload of the program
• IOM´s focal point with Governmental and NGO Organizations that worked with Colombian refugees in Ecuador, such as UNHCR, HIAS, PRM, DHS and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to develop and deepened relationships with key stakeholders.

• Responsible of investigating relevant calls for proposals published locally, regionally and internationally for the region.
• In charge of providing trainings in designated funding (such as e.g. proposal writing, donor requirements) for the regional office team as well as for partners.
• Responsible of strengthening s relationships with key donors in the region (e.g. EU, BMZ, UN, USAID)
• Promoted the definition and fine-tuning of processes and interfaces of all areas of a project proposal such as selection of funding opportunities, proposal development and project report review.
• Involved in the development of multi-year plans for the different countries of the region based on the regional strategy.
• Responsible of participating on planning workshops and external evaluations for Legally Contracted Designated Funding (LCDF) projects.

Focal Point for Disability Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction in the region.

• Supported the development of humanitarian funding proposals.
• In coordination with CBM Germany ensured that adequate emergency preparedness measures are taken through the development and implementation of the Humanitarian Preparedness Plan at a country and regional level.
• Established and strengthed CBM´s networks and alliances in the region, towards inclusive humanitarian practices in collaboration with other organizations that work in the humanitarian area.

• Responsible of coordinating with the Logistic Officer the deployment of the EU Officers to the different provinces of the country.
• In charge of collecting relevant information regarding the political parties and develop a filing system so the information could be used by the EU Officers.
• Responsible to prepare the statistical reports about the electoral process in Ecuador.
• Answered multi-line phone system, routing calls, delivering messages to the senior management.
• Scheduled office meetings and appointments with the national and international press.

• In charge of analyzing the different agreements and action plans in the areas of Education, Small and Medium enterprises for the African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (ACP).
• Participated in workshops and presentations related to projects that the EU had in the ACP countries.
• Completed research, compiled data, updated spreadsheets, and produced timely reports from the EU Offices in Africa.
• Analyzed problems and worked with the senior staff members in order to learn how to develop solutions.
