I am a clinical psychologist specialized in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I design and implement evidence-based interventions to promote mental health, resilience, and emotional regulation in children, adolescents, and adults with diverse emotional challenges. I integrate artistic and expressive resources within structured clinical frameworks to foster meaningful change.
I approach clinical practice with empathy, active listening, and respect for each individual's uniqueness. I promote safe spaces where children, adolescents, and families can express their emotions, reframe experiences, and develop inner resources. My commitment is to provide care with technical rigor and human sensitivity, generating creative and transformative alternatives.
Crisis intervention for people seeking legal counsel in cases related to family, childhood, and adolescence. Various psychological support processes were carried out with women and men in vulnerable situations (120 hours of work with service users).
For three years, I directed and was an instructor at the Acting Club of the San Francisco de Quito University. In this space, I sought to integrate my knowledge of acting and psychology so that university students could explore, create, and strengthen their self-confidence through psychodrama techniques.
As part of the Service-Learning Program (PASEC) of the San Francisco de Quito University, I had the opportunity to lead art therapy workshops so that girls and adolescent mothers who are members of the foundation could communicate their emotions, de-stress, and get to know themselves (150 hours of volunteer work).
I received training in art therapy based on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) for children and adolescents, and together with a group of students from San Francisco de Quito University, we implemented a pilot program at the Carlos Aguilar Educational Unit.

For me, writing is therapeutic; it's a way to organize my thoughts and emotions. I've always felt called to write, to connect with others through the art of writing. When I write, I let it all out and realize how much we have in common. As human beings, we almost always seek to differentiate ourselves and distance ourselves, but for me, writing is a way to unite, to see each other more honestly, to connect, and to realize that we're not so different from one another.
As a clinical psychologist, I'm always looking for new tools to bring calm and clarity to my patients. That's how I began to delve into the world of meditation. Now, many of the techniques I use in therapy come from this approach, which for me is a lifestyle in which you are present and aware of yourself, your body, emotions, and thoughts.
