- Fundraising advisory this includes, financial modelling, fundraising advisory (debt vs equity) and funder introductions and process.

• Full responsibility of Accounting function (+25 FTE), including Accounts Payable & Receivables, Accounting, Revenue and Treasury.

• Compiled and analyzed financial data, providing key insights to management and country General Managers.
• Collaborated with City or Country teams to ensure Business Model was complied with but also was able to scale with growth achieved.
• Managed team to set up the first legal entities, bank accounts, tax registrations etc in 40+ launch countries across the globe.
• Responsible for all tax registrations, filings, payments and tax/financial audits for 26 countries.
• Managed implementation of finance systems such as Oracle.

• Responsible for non routine transactions ensuring these transactions where transacted correctly from a US GAAP perspective and also the set up of these transactions correctly in Oracle, these transactions included:
• - New debt issuances.
• - Company restructures from a equity perspective.
• - Procurement contract reviews.
• - M&A.
• Provided US GAAP guidance to accounting team and training where required.
• Responsible for External reporting on Equity and Balance sheet.

• Front office lending specialist, providing tailored debt solutions for Private Wealth clients, including development debt, debt consolidations and property financing.

• I worked on a consulting contract, offering temporary assistance in the Procurement department by: Analyzing and creating models for Buy vs Lease decisions on Properties.
• Negotiating contracts to enhance payment terms with suppliers.
• Providing monthly reports on Purchase price differences.

• Articles served in the Port Elizabeth office, with clients in multiple industries.
• 2 Post Article secondments in Jakarta, Indonesia and Utrecht, Netherlands.
