Emilio Villacís

I take great pleasure in engaging in diverse musical activities and connecting them with the wider community. As a pianist and composer, I'm dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for students in both academic and popular music. I believe in encouraging students to embrace mistakes as part of their learning journey. I advocate for a more insightful teaching approach and collaboration with peers to create an environment where students can flourish without judgment. As an multi-awarded composer and performer, my ultimate goal is to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Ecuadorian and Latin American music globally by creating and promoting cultural spaces for immersive auditory experiences.
