Dafna Haim Escobar

My name is Dafna Haim Escobar, I was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, but from a young age, I held a dream close to my heart: to live in Israel. Today, that dream is true. In late 2020, I made Aliyah, driven by my passion for this land, and proudly joined the Israeli army to serve the country I love.

My journey led me to be a combat soldier in the Israel Defense Forces, where I served in the Search and Rescue unit. That experience not only shaped me as a person but also allowed me to be named מצתיינת מחזורית (excellence) at the end of my training, an honor I deeply cherish. Upon completing my military service, I decided to pursue my passion and enrolled at the prestigious Reichman University to study Communications, a field where I can express my creativity and connect with people.
